Bureau Credit Report
There are 3 main national credit bureaus – Equifax, Experian, and Trans Union. They are operated by their shareholders. These 3 bureaus are competing with each other, and usually don't share their information. For this reason I prefer ordering my credit report from all of the 3 bureaus. Thus I can compare my credit report information, and it is easier for me to notice mistakes if there are any.Credit reporting bureaus obtain the necessary consumer information by requesting it from various creditors – banks, credit card companies, etc. Creditor members, in their turn, can use credit bureaus information for making credit decisions.
Credit Equifax Report
Equifax has a history of more than 100 years. It is now a global service provider that offers advantageous solutions to their clients. Equifax offers customers a number of credit report products:
- Equifax 3-in-1 Credit Report with Scorepower that contains information from all 3 credit bureaus and your FICO score
- Scorepower that contains your Equifax Credit Report and FICO Credit Score
- Equifax Score Watch that helps you keep track of your FICO Credit Score.
Credit Experian Report
My credit Experian report shows the precise condition of my credit score. It allows me to check the accuracy of my credit report information, see what inquiries have taken place, and find out why the credit score is lower than it should be. If I face any difficulties, I can always call their customer service and get the answers to all my questions.
Credit Report TransUnion
Trans Union is a great help for my credit management as well. Their website is very convenient, and it offers helpful educational materials, the opportunity to sign up for free monthly newsletters, and learn more about their credit products.
3 in 1 Credit Report
A single credit report delivers the information from only one of the credit bureaus, while a 3 in 1 credit report enables me to view my credit history as presented by all three. A 3 in 1 credit report shows all of my credit accounts, that enables me to easily view how all three bureaus are reporting my credit. It also lists which lenders have recently viewed my credit report.
